(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- Miami-Dade County, FL – On November 23, Finnair began once-a-week passenger and cargo service between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Helsinki, Finland. The direct flight, which is served by B757 aircraft and stops in Halifax, Canada only to re-fuel and change the flight crew, will continue through March 22, 2010. MIA and JFK are the only two U.S. airports that currently provide direct service to Finland.
