Opening May 2010 Rental Car Center (RCC)

MIA passengers looking for a "one-stop shop" for rental car service will have to look no further than a four-level, consolidated Rental Car Center just one mile east of MIA, scheduled to open in May 2010. Twenty acres in size, the RCC is a consortium of 16 rental car companies that will maintain and operate the facility, which has space to accommodate up to 6,500 vehicles. Select rental car companies have registration counters or Information/Reservation Boards located inside the baggage claim area, on the Arrival/Ground Level of the North and Central Terminals.  South Terminal uses the rental car phone center located at the Information and Reservation Boards located on the Arrival/Ground Level and on the 3rd floor.

Actual vehicle pick-up for all companies is not on airport property and is located at various off-site areas (see below) which must be accessed by courtesy shuttle van for each separate rental car company. Simply step outside of the baggage claim area on the median curb on the Departure/Ground Level and flag-down your selected company's vehicle as you see them pass by, or use a shuttle bus stop on the Departure/Upper Level. The following companies are located in the terminal in the baggage claim areas.  May 2010, all companies below will move to MIA's Rental Car Center (RCC).

The following car rentals are not located inside MIA's terminal but are located in close proximity to MIA. Beginning May 2010, all companies below will move to MIA's Rental Car Center (RCC).
